Currently based in Thurso, Scotland, Benjamin Alba is an outdoor enthusiast. Having played rugby, football, cricket and racket sports in his youth he moved on to play Ultimate Frisbee at University, representing Great Britain at Under-24 level whilst continuing all of his other pursuits.

Over time and with work commitments his shift has changed slightly, focussing more on surfing and long distance endurance.

Aside from his outdoor activities and his work as a junior doctor, Benjamin also makes time for volunteering, having worked with Exile Medics, RNLI, Pembrokeshire Coastal Lifeguards, Shout and Surfers Against Sewage.

His focus now is on Expedition and Wilderness Medicine, whilst he is also designing a house, writing a book and building a board game, who knows maybe he will achieve one of them!
